🌙 3 Incredible Ways to Get Your Baby to Sleep More Soundly🌙

1. Build Their Brain During the Day 🧠

Babies get most of their brain stimulation through their bodies! Here’s how to help:
- Free Movement: From newborns onwards, free movement is crucial! It helps babies learn about their environment and gravity.
- Vestibular Activities: bouncing, spinning, tossing, swinging (check out my reels, so many examples)
- Activate All Senses: Diverse sensory experiences support their growth.

2. Close the Mouth 👶

Have you learned about optimal airway health? Now that you have kids, it’s essential! Mouth breathing at night can:
- Stress the system
- Cause lighter or dysfunctional sleep
- Impact behavior and overall health

Signs Your Baby May Need Airway Support:
- Mouth breathing or unable to keep the mouth closed
- Wakes up not refreshed
- Dark circles under the eyes
- Snoring

3. Stimulate Their Parasympathetic Nervous System 🧘‍♂️

Winding down at night is crucial! If your child seems stuck in a sympathetic state (fight or flight—meaning they are fidgety, anxious, or stressed), they won’t sleep and recover well. Help them relax by:
- Giving them a soothing massage
- Massaging their feet or ears
- Humming with them on your chest
- Taking deep breaths together
- Getting them adjusted by a pediatric chiropractor (my favorite! ❤️)
